Celtic Tiger in retrospect…
So here’s a set of three photos from the end of my college year. Haven’t been blogging at all really lately so am only putting them up now.
The theme for the brief was Irish Identities and to say that the state of the economy had an overpowering sense of being in everyone’s projects is an understatement…
Since college ending I’ve been so busy but in a good way, meaning I’ve been getting lots of stuff done, which have been on the end of the long finger for far too long!

Busy busy busy
I feel a need to vent. I think most people in my class are feeling the same as me – and that’s; a bit fed up! I’ve got a million things going on simultaneously and I just hope they all come together as well as I’d hoped. It’s kind of hard to go 100% into something when you should be doing lots of other stuff at the same time – it’s one of the big shortfalls of continuous assessment. I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end, it normally does but right now; it’s looking gloomy.
Just over 2 weeks to go until the date of final of submissions… That countdown is killing and keeping me going.
Delorentos @ UCD student bar
Saw the lads here on Thursday night. Luckily, I was here just to see them play and not to take photographs of them. I don’t know how Neil Dorgan is able to get such awesome shots here! The place looked like a nightmare to shoot…
Here’s the set list:
As you can see, there was a lot of new tunes played, which surprised me! I’d never been in the student bar before the gig but I’d read that it was a very hostile environment, i.e. you’d play the biggie, crowd pleaser hits and that’s it. Well, Delorentos truly bucked that trend. The crowd loved every moment they were on stage and knowing that that it was one of the last remaining gigs they’re playing, made it all the more sweeter, although, that was twinged with sadness. I had so many convos that night with people who couldn’t believe they were breaking up. I still can’t but I’m looking forward to seeing where things are going to take them!
Get the red pen out!!!

Easter Weekend
My Easter Weekend was occupied with the scouts but I don’t think I’d have it any other way. Love a bit of camping – it makes me appreciate everything at home much more!

The Sexy Tent. My home for the weekend…!

The Wife
Joanna was my model here and she was amazing! I was away last weekend in Carraig Eden for leader training and I was on the phone to my friend Pearse talking about how good Joanna was at modeling when a guy walked into the bedroom I was staying in and i wasn’t paying attention to him when I started saying how good Joanna was with her body and that she knows how to move, etc. Of course, I was talking about the photographs but your man didn’t take it up that way! Hahaha.
That 13 year old father…
Yesterday It was announced that Alfie is going to join Fathers For Justice. He said it was convenient as he already had a spidey costume.
